End of the year means end of the school year for us too, and with that teacher and assistants gifts are in order! For the assistants we made these cute candy cane gifts, and it was real easy too!

Sweet candy cane gift=

What you need:

– candy canes
– ribbon
– cardboard
– stickers

Steps

What to do:

– Cut/punch your tags out of the cardboard. (I’ve used a circle punch to make our tags, but one could cut square or rectangular cards too.)
– Add the sticker and wording: “Have a SWEET CHRISTMAS, and make a hole for the ribbon to go through
– now tie the ribbon around the candy cane, and add the tag
– use the scissors blade technique to curl the ends of the ribbon.

Easy as that! And oh, so SWEET! This simple gift was loved by all the assistants, it’s the thought that counts after all.

A quick gift idea – I love it! As long as I could keep my helper from eating the candy canes, lol!
