We just love waterbeads! It is such a fun sensory item. We combined these blue, purple and green ones with some sea creatures and voila: a small world ocean!
Lella played in the bath tub with it, for this reason: when the water beads fall on the ground, it goes everywhere! And with baby brother crawling all around the house, it is safer to just play in the tub, where the beads can be contained;)
As you can see, it did not stay for long in the container!
She then took the container with compartments we use for bath tub paint and sorted the beads according to colour. All the while squishing and squashing them, it is a lovely  sensory experience!
When bath time came, we kept the beads in the water and they chased them around, trying to catch them again, you need skills for that too!
Water beads in the bath
Such a lovely sensory play activity, and not at all expensive or difficult to set up.
Be sure to check back soon for more fun, easy and educational activities!
