Practice number matching and counting with this fun popsicle number match activity!

Today’s FREEBIE is this fun popsicle number match activity! What a fun way to revise different ways to show a number! Pssst! There is a FREE digital Boom cards version too(details below)!
This popsicle stick numbers activity is super fun! It not only develops number sense but also fine motor skills when the child inserts the popsicle stick into the slit to make the popsicle.

How to prepare this activity:
Firstly, print and laminate the free printable pages(instructions on how to access our Freebies below). Then, cut it as you wish. I have shown you here a few ways- individual popsicles, a row of popsicles or a full sheet of popsicles. The individual way is the most effort for you, but it makes it easier to handle for younger kids.

Make slits with a craft knife where the stick could be inserted. Obviously, you do not have to make slits- the sticks could simply just be placed where it belongs, but the slits make it more interactive.

Write your numbers on the popsicle sticks. I have used the mini sticks here, but the normal size is fine too. (There are popsicles up to number twenty in the printable set, and up to ten in the digital set.)

Now the popsicle number match can begin! Simply match the correct numbered stick to the popsicle.

What a super fun way to practice those numbers with our popsicle number match activity, for FREE!
