I’ve been collecting paint swatches each time I walk by a stand in a certain shop(I think they might think I’m crazy, but ah well)!
Why do I collect them? Because you can do so much with them! And sometimes you need just a small piece of a certain color and your average cardstock collection does not have it, then the paint swatches come in handy.
Today we used it to make these Valentine’s Day cards.
Lella had to use the heart craft punch to make lots of hearts. The big hearts were easier for her to punch, because the swatch is quite thick, and mom punched the small hearts. This was great fine motor practise too!
We then glued it randomly to the black card paper.
I added the glitter lines with glitter glue to give it the effect of balloons going up in the air, hence the words on the card: “Love is in the air”.
Of course she said she is going to give it to her daddy<3 Too pretty and fun!
