Use paint swatches and make a lovely paint swatch Valentine’s Day card with your kiddo and work those fine motor skills too!
I’ve been collecting paint swatches each time I walk by a stand in a certain shop(I think they might think I’m crazy, but ah well)!
Why do I collect them? Because you can do so much with them! And sometimes you need just a small piece of a certain color and your average cardstock collection does not have it, then the paint swatches come in handy.
Today we used it to make a pretty paint swatch Valentine’s Day card.
Lella had to use the heart craft punch to make lots of hearts. The big hearts were easier for her to punch, because the swatch is quite thick, and mom punched the small hearts. This was great fine motor practice too!
We then glued it randomly to the black card paper.
I added the glitter lines with glitter glue to give it the effect of balloons going up in the air, hence the words on the card: “Love is in the air”. Of course, she said she is going to give it to her daddy.
A lovely paint swatch Valentine’s Day card to make with your kids!
