Finally I’m getting around to show you my next Mommy Project: a Name for my son’s room using some of his keepsakes!

Name decor

A blanket, t-shirt and baby vest, together with cardboard and batting were made into this special wall decor!

Supplies

Firstly, I cut the name out of cardboard. There were a few steps, hopefully the photos can explain:

Cardboard Letters

Then the fabric was cut to fit around the letters(2-3cm bigger):

Fabric and cardboard letters

Now the easy part: glue the batting down onto the cardboard letters and wrap the fabric around, using a stapler to secure.

Stapling

Onto the wall it went:

finale

Lovely(and frugal) wall decor! And special too!

This is an awesome way to repurpise old baby clothes into something that will last for a long long time (untill child outgrows it:)!
