Are you also wrapping presents at the moment? What a task! I rather love it, but sometimes it gets a bit tricky when the gift is an odd shape.

How to wrap odd-shaped gifts

For small gifts like the above picture, I like to make a cracker “casing”. Here is the easy How- to.

Cracker casing steps

Step 1- measure your gifts and cut the cardboard a centimeter larger. Then cut a piece of gift-wrap 5 centimeters longer than the board at the ends.

Step 2- roll the gifts into the cardboard and secure them with tape.

Step 3- now roll again, using the gift wrap.

Step 4- tie the ends with a ribbon, closing it.

Step 5- look at your neat cracker gift!

You can use a cardboard roll if your gift will fit in it, or a Pringles can. Just skip step 2;)
