We are in the middle of a weeklong series called the Kid-made Christmas Series. Today we are sharing an adorable felt gingerbread man photo ornament!

To make this ornament you need:
- beige felt
- white wool
- a few mini pompoms or buttons
- bow cut from felt, your choice of color
- cotton wool
- any other items you want to decorate with
How to make this gingerbread man ornament:
Use a gingerbread man cookie cutter as a stencil, or a real stencil if you have it. Cut two men, one slightly bigger than the other. Cut a hole for the photo and attach a photo to the back man.

Use the wool to stitch around the shape and to attach the two. You can use a blanket sheet as I did or any other stitch. PS- this is a great early sew project for young kids(I just did the stitching- and fast too so not my neatest work, because we were pressed for time).

After stitching all around, fill the man with cotton wool using the face hole, so it is a puffy gingerbread man. Get the kids to help decorate the ornament. We used a glue gun to attach the felt bow and pompoms.

Such a super cute Christmas tree ornament, don’t you think? Will make a great keepsake gift too! Also, see this cute kid-made Gingerbread man ornament and this Gingerbread Men Garland!
