Make a rainbow puzzle from a disposable plate that your child can build over and over again.
This rainbow puzzle is easy for toddlers to make themselves. It teaches them the colors of the rainbow and concepts like from biggest to smallest, smallest to biggest when building it again themselves.
What to do:
We used the polystyrene kind of disposable plate, but one could use a paper plate instead.
Cut the plate in half then cut the pieces of the rainbow. (Or, you can paint it first and then cut it into the rainbow pieces.) Paint it in the colors of the rainbow.
I gave my then 4-year-old free reign as to how she wanted to paint her rainbow. As you can see, she decided to redesign the rainbow a bit.
You can even let them add glitter or sequins to make the rainbow puzzle even more pretty!
