I don’t know about your kids, but mine, for some reason just like to taste playdough! I never buy dough, even if they say it is non-toxic, but always make my own with this recipe, that all the ingredients are edible, although it does not taste nice!
But for this chocolate playdough, now that is another story! You can literally eat this!!

For the recipe, you will have to pop over to Still Playing School, because it is not my recipe, but Devany “invented” it. But let me just say, it is genious! Only 2 ingredients AND no cook!

I let my daughter mix her batch herself, and I made a batch for my son. This was part of the (messy) fun while developing fine motor skills during the sensory process.

The texture of the dough is smooth, and one can roll it, squish it, make shapes etc. Oh, and did I mention it smells delicious! And taste real yummy!

Here is the taste tester at work;)

We played with it for a while. Left it just there on the counter, then when we came back to it, the texture was even smoother and softer, because the chocolate “melted” a tiny bit!

You have to give this Chocolate Dough a try!

**UPDATE**

We made a new batch of Chocolate dough! This time we used:

1/2 block of margarine(250g)

180ml cacoa

90 ml icing sugar

250ml flour

Just mix and play! No cook and it smells delicious! I don’t know how long it will keep(it is a week now and still good.)

The website you mentioned for the recipe doesn’t show this project at all. 🙁

    Questions about the recipe

    1/2 block of margarine(250g)

180ml cacoa ???? Ok, you meant cocoa, but ml????? liquid? not powder?

90 ml icing sugar (is it the sugar that comes in tubes to decorate cakes? Can’t we just use regular sugar?

    250ml flour

    TKS!

It is powdered cocoa, yes. A little more than a 3/4 of a cup.
And the texture will be smoother if you use powdered sugar(icing sugar)
