Time for Project: Recycle & Create!
This month recycling material is bubble wrap! Who doesn’t like bubble wrap? The perfect stress reliever and also perfect for making textured paint prints.
We decided to make gift wrap for a Father’s Day gift by using bubble wrap prints. Initially I had this awesome idea to cut their hand shapes out of the bubble wrap. It did not work as I planned(but I’m showing you in any case, keeping it real)!
The paint was too runny and they pressed too hard, and to top it off W(17months) was clingy, so not the best time to try and be creative!
If you want to have a go at it, perhaps try it with older kids and with thicker paint.
Then I took out a cardboard tube and a toothpaste box, wrapped bubble wrap around the end and used that instead to make prints.
L(almost 4) enjoyed this and wanted to make something else too, so I drew a tree, and she pressed pink flowers all around the tree, just like cherry blossoms, pretty right?
Here are the links to my fellow bloggers, so you could go check out what they’ve been doing with bubble wrap too! And find below the linky where you could add your bubble wrap posts!

So loving that bubble wrap hand print!
Thanks Emma! Really think it could work, just have to get it right;)
