So baby had an upgrade from his card board box to this one, filled with plastic balls;)

He was quite happy to play and explore the balls for a while, (bright colours, #visual stimulation) until one accidentally fell out the box. He followed the ball with his eyes, #visual perception, until it stopped. Also working the #attention span. Then intentionally tried to get another ball out the box to roll.
According to Practica, babies start with problemsolving around month 6 or 7. This is the start of intelligent behaviour, quite interesting.
Another interesting development is the transfering of objects from one hand to the other. I see baby is starting to do that now, although with these big-ish balls he had to hold it mostly with both hands.
This was an easy activity, quick set up, and he enjoyed it for some time. Give it a try!
